Character design shapes how audiences connect with a story.
A well-designed character isn’t just visually appealing; it communicates personality, emotions, and backstory at a glance. Whether in film, games, or branding, characters are often the most memorable aspects, driving engagement and leaving a lasting impression.
Strong character design builds a bridge between the audience and the narrative, making the experience more relatable and immersive.
what is character design?
Character design is the process of bringing unique personalities to life, whether in 2D or 3D, for films, games, or brands.
It’s about more than just creating a visual; it’s about crafting characters that resonate with audiences, telling stories through their appearance, movement, and expressions.
From initial sketches to fully realized models, character design blends creativity with technical skill to create iconic figures that stand out and connect with viewers on an emotional level.

how does it work?
There are five steps to the process.
We prefer to have a good connection with the people we work with, and we like to work with transparency.
We keep you updated through each step of the process, so there are no unwelcome surprises along the way.
Tell us what you need. Give us as much information as possible. For example: your idea, your goals, your budget, your social media links. What would you like to achieve with this character?
We connect. We can chat via email or schedule an introductory call. We can both ask questions and determine if we’re a good match.
Proposal and agreement. We send over a proposal with a few options based on your budget and your requirements. If you accept the proposal, we send over a contract and project outline, with clearly defined costs, expectations, and timelines.
We get started. Once the contract has been signed and the deposit has been paid, we will get to work. Typically we take 50% deposit upfront, with the balance determined by the payment schedule in the agreement. We keep in touch via email and will keep you posted on our progress, with enough time to make adjustments before milestones and deadlines.
We deliver. When you are happy with the end result, we send your brand new characters over and you can put them to work right away.
